 The Island is joined to the mainland by a bridge and is a 20 minute drive from Nadi International Airport. Several Internationally standard resorts are located along the beachfront. The island has an excellent 18 hole championship golf course with Tennis court and an accompanying clubhouse, bar and restaurant. Denarau Marina, a few minutes by shuttle bus from all resorts, is the departure point for outer island ferries and most marine activities. The Marina has a number of bars, restaurants and a wide range of shopping opportunities.

From here, the tour visits the chiefly village of Viseisei, the legendary landing site of the first Fijians. The tour continues on to Nadi, to visit the largest Hindu Temple in the South Pacific before exploring the Nadi Market.
