DAY 1 - ARRIVE AUCKLAND
On arrival at Auckland airport you will be met and transferred
to your hotel. (self- drive passengers collect your rental
vehicle for your exclusive use until the end of the tour package)
DAY 2 - AUCKLAND - COROMANDEL (168 KMS)
Travel south, on the Pacific Coast Highway, to the Coromandel
townships of Thames and Pauanui. Visits are included en route
to the Rapaura Watergardens and Driving Creek Railway.
DAY 3 - COROMANDEL
Today take an optional tour to see the beautiful beaches of
Mercury Bay or take a walking tour.
DAY 4 - COROMANDEL - ROTORUA (218 KMS)
More time today to explore the Coromandel before travelling
to the thermal centre of New Zealand, Rotorua.
DAY 5 - ROTORUA
This morning’s tour includes Te Puia and its thermal
vally of roaring geysers, steaming rivers and boiling mud
pools. Continue on to Rainbow Springs to view trout and other
wildlife before a visit to the famous Agrodome Sheep Show.
The afternoon is free for other activities like the Agrojet and Swoop at Agroventures.
DAY 6 - ROTORUA – WAITOMO CAVES – AUCKLAND (370
KMS)
Travel over the forested Mamaku Ranges to reach Waitomo. Enjoy
a guided tour of the world famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves including
an underground boat ride viewing the millions of glow worms
on the cavern roof. On completion continue through the fertile
Waikato area to reach Auckland.
DAY 7 - DEPART AUCKLAND
Transfer to the airport for your departure flight. (Self-drivers
return your car directly to the airport).
