DAY 1 - ARRIVE CHRISTCHURCH
On arrival at Christchurch Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel. (Self-drive passengers collect your rental car for your exclusive use until the end of the tour package).

DAY 2 - CHRISTCHURCH – QUEENSTOWN (500 KMS)
Travel across the Canterbury Plains, then pass through the rural towns of Geraldine and Fairlie to reach Lake Tekapo. Continue south to the small town of Twizel and pass through the Kawarau Gorge to arrive in Queenstown in the early evening.

DAY 3 - QUEENSTOWN
Today you will cruise on the vintage ‘Old Lady’, the TSS Earnslaw, to Walter Peak High Country Farm for an excursion of the Colonel’s Homestead. (The ‘TSS Earnslaw’ is on annual service in June and July and will be replaced with an alternative activity).

DAY 4 - QUEENSTOWN – MT COOK – CHRISTCHURCH (600 KMS)
This morning we travel over the Lindis Pass to reach Mt Cook around lunchtime. A rare opportunity to take an optional scenic flight to view Mt Cook’s snow fields and glaciers. We continue through to Lake Tekapo and across the Canterbury Plains to Christchurch.

DAY 5 - DEPART CHRISTCHURCH
Early this morning a tour on the “Hot Air Balloon” is suggested if time permits. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight. (Self-drive passengers return your car directly at the airport)
